I’ve been betrothed to the heir to the Twelve Kingdoms since birth. But there are rumors far and wide of his cruelty. I know I’ll be nothing more than a possession to him and that is not the future I wanted for myself.

 

I tried to run, but I was prevented from escaping, and now the King’s envoy is at our shores to take me to him like a pig to slaughter.
